01 / ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, accessing or using Bluetune, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Bluetune.

02 / ELIGIBILITY

Who Can Use Bluetune

You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age required in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA — and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use Bluetune on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

03 / YOUR ACCOUNT

Your Account

You register for Bluetune with your phone number, which we verify using a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use. An account is intended for a single person.

04 / THE SERVICE

The Service

Bluetune provides private messaging, one-to-one and group voice and video calls, and built-in meetings across Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and tablet, and is offered free of charge. Using Bluetune requires a compatible device and internet access, which are your responsibility and may involve costs from your carrier or provider. We may add, change or remove features over time and will try to give notice of significant changes.

05 / ACCEPTABLE USE

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Bluetune lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• upload, share or transmit illegal, abusive, or harmful content;
• harass, threaten, or intimidate other users;
• send spam, bulk or unsolicited messages, or use automated means to access or abuse the Service;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
• infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others, or violate any applicable law;
• distribute malware or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or to other users' data.

Any violation of these rules may lead to the removal of content and the suspension or termination of your account.

06 / YOUR CONTENT

Your Content & Encryption

You keep ownership of the content you create and share through Bluetune, and you are solely responsible for it and for ensuring you have the rights to share it. We rely on user reports and on-device signals to enforce these Terms.

You grant us the limited rights necessary to operate the Service — for example, to transmit and synchronize your encrypted content across your devices and to deliver your messages to their intended recipients. We do not claim ownership of your content.

07 / MEETINGS & AI

Meetings, Recordings & AI Features

Bluetune includes built-in BigBlueButton meetings you can start instantly or join by code or QR. A meeting is recorded only when recording is enabled for that room, and recordings, transcripts and reports are accessible to the account owner.

Bluetune's AI assistant, transcripts and summaries are provided for convenience on an "as is" basis, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and should not be relied upon for important decisions. Using AI features involves processing your content — see the Privacy Policy for how that content is handled.

08 / LICENSE

Intellectual Property & Your License

Bluetune — including its software, design, and brand — is owned by BiggerBlueButton and its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use Bluetune for your own communications in accordance with these Terms.

Except as permitted by applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from Bluetune, and you may not remove or alter any proprietary notices.

09 / THIRD PARTIES

Third-Party Services

Bluetune is distributed through app stores and relies on operating-system services (such as push notifications) and BigBlueButton meeting infrastructure. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party products or services.

10 / TERMINATION

Suspension & Termination

You may stop using Bluetune and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in activity that may harm the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

11 / DISCLAIMERS

Disclaimers

Bluetune is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available.

12 / LIABILITY

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BiggerBlueButton and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — Bluetune, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

13 / CHANGES

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date above, and — where appropriate — notify you in the app. Your continued use of Bluetune after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14 / GOVERNING LAW

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
